Who is the Cosmelan Peel Program suited for?

Is Cosmelan painful? 

• It is expected to feel mild to moderate discomfort after the treatment is completed due to dryness and peeling, but the Cosmelan Peel itself is virtually painless. 

​

What downtime is expected after the Cosmelan treatement? 

• Your skin will be red for the first three days after the treatment. After this, it is expected to peel. Give yourself 10-12 days of downtime before you begin to see healing. 

• It is important that you avoid any sun exposure during this time.

When will I notice results? 

Depending on your skin concerns, you may see results after your first treatment! Whether this may be 2 weeks after your treatment or 4-8 weeks after. If you continue to use the Cosmelan 2 cream, ( one of the maintenance home care products ) you will maintain the results. In some cases where the pigmentation is deep the treatment may need to be repeated – after the first treatment the pigmentation will be much lighter.
